HAVING FOCUS OR GOAL |

To achieve anything in life, there has to be a goal or focus. An end result. For instance, if you are running in a marathon race, you may have a goal for either standing first or standing in the first five or even attempting to run, inspite of some handicap, or simply attempting to complete the distance running or walking. Everything is all right. As long as you are aware of what you are aiming for and how to prepare for it. The result should not be the concern. |

PREPARATION |
|
Once you know your personal goal, work towards it or start the preparation. The person simply participating in the marathon, may want to look good, probably give some pictures of himself as he is seen in an outfit for his website, to impress his girlfriend or even aim only to have a certificate of participation. The person who wants to stand in the first five, will probably prepare by following a time table and practice sessions. Person aiming to stand first, may probably prepare differently where he has to beat the previous record or practice every day for certain hours. Preparation for the outcome would differ in every case. |

MAINTAINING A DREAM JOURNAL |

The foremost thing while preparing a book of goals is to start by writing down all your areas of interest and before you start put it down on a rough paper with your hand. Write whatever you intend to do. Writing is a subconscious mind activity and goes straight into your subconscious mind. |

LOVING AND CARING FOR YOURSELF |

Whatever may be your dream or your goals, you can achieve it only if you are physically, mentally and emotionally stable and healthy. Which means you have to do continuously care and love yourself . |

SECTIONS IN THE DREAM JOURNAL |
|
Make several sections in your dream journal which covers all walks of your life. Make Headings and put topics of utmost interest for your growth such as, your career, finance, relationships, love, marriage, children, home, parents, hobbies, interests etc. Now that you have made sections in your dream journal listing all the things that are of concern to you. Make a list of at least ten different activities to be done for every topic, under the main heading. Set a time limit which is very comfortable for you to achieve the jobs to be done against each chore. |

CORRESPONDING DAILY DATE DAIRY |

Now that you have listed the chores under the heading and also set time limit for it, make a date diary or use an existing date diary to give shape to your dreams. All those dreams in your journal, will remain dreams till you write down every activity in the date diary. You cannot achieve everything on one date. Hence space out, every chore over the week, over the fortnight, or even the following month.
You may add something at any time or delete certain things of inconsequence. At all times, remember you are the person in charge of your life. Even if you are getting everything effortlessly, you have to make the effort to care and maintain it. |
